Program Overview
The Prevention First Program at Scottsdale Counseling & Wellness is designed to support adolescents before challenges become crises.
Grounded in our whole-person approach, this program focuses on early identification, emotional regulation, and resilience building — helping teens strengthen their mental health through practical skills and preventative care.
What We Offer
Small group sessions focused on coping skills, stress management, and emotional awareness
Education for teens and families on root-cause factors like hormones, sleep, and nutrition
Access to integrated psychiatric and wellness services when needed
Collaborative care with schools, pediatricians, and families for continuity of support
Who It’s For
Adolescents (ages 14–17) who may be experiencing early signs of stress, anxiety, mood changes, or social difficulties — and families who want to address these concerns early with proactive, compassionate care.
